Present Positions / Appointments:

 

  • Associate Professor of International Law at the Department of Legal and Economic Studies (DSGE), Law Faculty of the University La Sapienza of Rome
  • Teacher of the European Union Law (Diritto dell’Unione europea) Course within the Master Programme in Law (72 hours, 9 ECTS) of the Law Faculty of the University La Sapienza of Rome. Her European Law course provides students with a supplementary experience of simulation of the European Council and the EU Council decision-making, in collaboration with the MUN Academy
  • Teacher of the Course of International Law (72 hours, 9 ECTS) within the Bachelor Degree Course in International Cooperation and Development at the Department of Communication and Social Research (CoRiS), University La Sapienza of Rome. Her International Law course provides students with a supplementary experience of simulation of the UN Security Council decision-making, in collaboration with the SIT (Social Innovation Teams) Academy
  • Teacher of the Course of International Law (72 hours, 9 ECTS) within the Bachelor Degree Course in Intercultural and Linguistic Mediation at the Department of European, American and Intercultural Studies (SEAI), University La Sapienza of Rome

  • 1989 – Degree in Political Sciences at La Sapienza University with 110/110 marks, upon discussion of the thesis: ‘The Evolution of the EEC Agricultural Policy and the Mediterranean Integrated Programmes in the Framework of the Development of the Region’
  • 1996 - Doctorate in International Law at La Sapienza University discussing the thesis: ‘The International Protection of Minorities in International Law’
  • 1997-1999 - Post-doc scholarship by the Law Faculty of the University of Camerino (Italy) directed towards the study of the topic: ‘The Framework Convention of the Council of Europe on the Protection of National Minorities’
  • 2001-2004 Research fellow scholarship at the Law Faculty of La Sapienza University with the aim of investigating the issue: ‘Human Rights and Peoples’ Rights in the Light of Recent Trends of International Law’
  • 2005-2020 Senior Researcher in International Law at the Law Faculty of La Sapienza University
  • On January 24th, 2014, she obtained the National Academic Qualification (abilitazione) as Associate Professor in International Law. She obtained the abilitazione as Associate Professor a second time on April 9th, 2018
